Si Jieh Evita Bodine
 |
Si Jieh Evita's interest in the Martial Arts started when she was eight years old. She trained for a year at the Siamese Shaolin school with her father. After her father passed away, her training ceased, but her interest in wushu would continue to grow with her. She resumed her training at The Shaolin Wushu Kung Fu Institute under Sifu Dale in 2001. She dedicated most of her time to training and helping with the Fitness & Tai Chi programs. She became known for her persistance and dedication to the art, especially while she continued training throughout her 38 weeks of pregnancy in the Kung Fu, T'ai Chi and Fitness programs.
Considering most of her training was with Sifu Dale during her time at the Shaolin Wushu Kung Fu Institute, there was no question that she would follow him when he opened The Chinese Martial Arts Center in Middletown, DE. Some of Si Jieh Evita's accomplishments include:
* Receiving the school's first Si Jieh title
* CMAC's first female black sash
* 1st Place Women's Empty Hand at Battle of Baltimore 2003
* 3rd Place Forms (Chasing Attacking) at Wong's Tournament
2004
* 4th Place Forms (32 Broadsword) at Wong's Tournament 2004
* Receiving the "Student of the year" Award, during our
December 2003 Graduation
