Iron Palm     Herbal Linament Use     Dit Da Jow Ingredients

Dit Da Jow Ingredients

Listed below are the 14 different herbs used for a very effective recipe for the Dit Da Jow that I personally make and promote to my students. I have sampled and used all different forms of Dit Da Jow liniments, made by other schools and trained herbal doctors, and this recipe is one of the best that I have found. It is important that you follow the directions carefully for both making and using any Dit Da Jow liniment.

The 14 listed herbs and their properties are:

Red Peony Root: Removes stagnant blood and eliminates negative heat from the body
Dragon's Blood: Removes blood stasis to relieve pain and promote healing
Cattail Pollen: Promotes blood circulation and relieves pain by eliminating blood stasis
Myrrh: Used to relieve pain and swelling because of blood stasis or trauma
Root of Pseudoginseng: Prevents blood stasis by breaking up blood clots and stopping internal bleeding
Safflower: Stimulates blood flow and relieves pain by removing stagnated blood. It also removes the pain of traumatic wounds
Frankincense: Relieves pain swelling by invigorating blood circulation for treatment of pains because of blood stasis and traumatic pains
Chinese Angelica Root: Used to nourish the blood and to invigorate the blood circulation
Aucklandia Root: Used as a pain reliever and an antispasmodic

Note: The 9 herbs listed above can be used to make a very potent, nonpoisonous Dit Da Jow. The herbs listed below, when added to the top nine, will produce an even more potent, but poisonous liniment. Whether you do or do not decide to add these five extra herbs, make sure you keep both liniments away from open cuts, your mouth and eyes. DO NOT DRINK EITHER LINIMENT.

Peach Kernel: Promotes circulation and dissolves clots
Clove Tree: The oil of the clove is an excellent local anesthetic; the drug promotes circulation
Rhubarb: Removes blood stagnation caused by traumatic injury. The powdered herb applied to burns relieves pain and swelling
Borneo Camphor Tree: Used as an aromatic for the treatment of loss of consciousness. It also reduces and alleviates pain
Horse Coin or Horse Money: This herb is a mystery. It is the most poisonous herb out of all the herbs. I have been told that adding this herb will make the Dit Da Jow much more potent by its presence

* Information about the herbs listed have been taken from my studies and notes with my Iron Palm teachers
**NOTE: Do Not Just mix these herbs together without the proper recipe**
